A new chapter for creators

PUBLISH / RSS FEED BUILDER

Turn your show details into an RSS draft.

A podcast feed brings your show information and episode details together. Use the RSS builder to assemble an XML draft from the fields you supply, then review it as part of your publishing process. Keep your titles, descriptions, and audio references consistent. The result is a starting file you can check and publish through the hosting workflow you control.

RSS studio

Build an RSS file for your first episode.

Bring your show details and a hosted audio file. Generate an RSS 2.0 file with Apple Podcasts namespace tags, then download it to publish with your own host.

01 / Show details

Included in the XML. This address becomes public if you publish the feed.

Use square JPG or PNG artwork, 1400–3000 pixels per side. Its size and accessibility are not checked here. Add compliant artwork before submitting to a directory that requires it.

02 / Episode details

Use the public, direct audio-file URL from your host. A webpage or share link is not a media enclosure.

Copy the exact byte size from your file or host; do not use duration or megabytes.

Enter UTC, not your local time. The export includes an explicit GMT offset.

Your media remains with your host.

Prepare the details listeners will see.

Write a show title that matches your branding and a description that explains the promise of the podcast. For each episode, choose a specific title and summarize the conversation in language a new listener can understand.

Gather the final audio and artwork references from the services you use. Check that the links point to the intended assets. Keep a record of episode identifiers and dates so future updates follow the same publishing conventions.

Treat generated XML as a draft to verify.

The browser tool assembles feed text from your inputs. Review the output, save a copy, and check it with the requirements and validation tools of your chosen hosting and distribution services. Filling out a form is one step in that process.

Publish through a location you can maintain, then inspect the feed that is actually available online. Test an episode from a listener's perspective and repeat the check when you update metadata or audio. The linked guide explores the workflow in more detail.

Your next steps

  • Gather accurate show details and final episode asset links.
  • Review and validate the XML against your publishing requirements.
  • Check the live feed and play an episode after publication.
